Description

During 1853-54, in early issues of the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald, editor and founder Arthur Guthrie published a series of weekly articles about the history of the two titular towns. These articles were developed into a book, first published in 1865, which would be expanded, revised and republished several times over the following 40 years.

This book expands the 1904 edition of “Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Neighbourhood” with previously removed content from earlier editions, along with over 70 additional images.
